For this assignment, I’m going to ask you to follow some kind of arts organization using one of your social media applications—this could be something pretty local: Biddeford, Portland, Augusta, or it could be from your hometown.
The idea here is to monitor over 15 weeks how an arts organization presents and markets itself to its followers. Be sharp—do you notice any ways your AO works to take works—specifically older/classical works— and make them more accessible to a modern, particularly to a younger audience? How is that done? What techniques, strategies, and methods are they applying? Monitor this media campaign over the semester, think about the approach, and report your findings in your journal.
